Day 01:  At 6:00am we pick you up from your hotels to go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, to Ollantaytambo (2.750m). After visiting the surroundings of this charming village, we drive to Kilometer 82 , where we start our trekking tour (12km, approx. 5hrs) to the legendary fortress of Machupicchu. While going upwards to acclimatize we arrive the first archeological complex of Llaqtapata after about ½ hour walk (2.550m). We have the chance to visit the ruins. Then we continue our hike until we arrive at Huayllabamba (3.000m), where our campsite for tonight will be.

Day 02 : After a delicious breakfast we start our hike (13km, approx. 8hrs) through the Huayllabamba Valley. We admire the amazing scenery and the ecological change of this zone until we arrive at Yunaca Chipana. From there we descend to Llulluchapampa (3.750m). At this point of our exciting tour we can appreciate the Huayanay Valley and the first pass Warmiwañusca (4.200m), better know as “Death Woman Pass”.

We camp in Pacamayo at an altitude of 3.800m.

Day 03 : After a tasty lunch we descend to the second pass called Runkurakay, situated at 3.860m. After a 2 hour hike we visit the archeological complex of Sayamacrca, appreciating the snow capped mountains and beautiful valleys. Then we continue our trek to the complex of Phuyupatamarca, making a short visit. Later on we descend 3km until we arrive a place called Winawayna. We will visit the ruins of the same name. Afterwards we prepare our campsite in Intipata, at an altitude of 2.650m.

This day our hike takes 10hrs (15km).

Day 04 : After an early breakfast, we continue the hike (2hrs, 6km) until we arrive the sector of Intipuncu, better known as “The Door of the Sun”, where we appreciate the impressive view of the “Lost City”. Our guide will explain you everything you wanted to know about these legendary ruins. Afterwards we will take the bus to return to the train station.

You arrive at Cusco at approx. 19:00 pm
